Question of the Week

            This week’s question of the week was: What is something you are looking forward to doing over winter break?

Lucas Kramer (10) - I’m going hunting and ice fishing if there is any ice. Ride my four wheeler and turn 16 on Christmas day. Then get my license.

John Langer (12) - I plan to spend lots of time with my family and eat A LOT of food! I also plan to get some awesome presents and can’t wait to see the reaction to my family receiving their gifts from me.
Sam Nielsen (12) - Sleeping in! I love to sleep!
Nicole Enabnit (10) - Spending time with family and the two holidays
Ms. Calhoun - Going to Memphis for the Cyclone bowl game & New Year’s!

Question of the Week

                This week’s question of the week was, “What is your favorite food for Thanksgiving?” Many people replied, “Mash potatoes.” Another popular answer was pies (a variety of types were listed).  Some other common responses were: turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce.

There was one that stood out from the other responses Ms. Jessica Kremer’s response was response, “Green olives. “

This week's question of the week was, "What is your favorite television series/program that showing this fall?" Students and teachers at Central City replied with many different answers. The top networks viewed by Central City are Fox 28, ION television, Channel 9, CBS, ABC, and AMC. The top four shows/programs were: Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, and Sons of Anarchy. There were many ties and close votes. Other programs mentioned were:  ICarly, Dancing with the Stars, Glee, Bones, Revenge, Revolution, How It's Made, The Walking Dead, Wipeout, Guy Code, Castle, and Once Upon a Time.

Question of the Week

            This week's question was, “What's your favorite thing about fall?” Most of the responses were the weather, football season, leaves changing colors, harvest, Halloween, and leaf piles. One of the creative responses was, "There are so many things I enjoy that it's hard to choose. I love going to haunted attractions. Mazes, hayrack rides, barns, if it's haunted I'm there." Ms. Zach.

Another creative response was from Mrs. Campbell, "Watching the leaves turn, driving along the Mississippi around Guttenberg, pumpkin pie, and harvest." She also said that she loves to run the combine.
